To Sheila and family I have just heard of Aidan's passing. What a terrible loss. Aidan was a colosssus in the education and rugby worlds. He was a stalwart in Leinster A schools. He was so selfless and dedicated .

Dear Sheila and family, please accept my deepest condolences on the sudden passing of Aidan. He was a great mentor and support to me during my teacher training and then later as a colleague. He was a lovely man, always delighted to see you and have a chat. He passed too soon. Thinking of you all at this time.

So sorry to hear the news. Mr Sherlock was a great teacher who supported many. We shared many stories about him with our parents. Aidan was a fantastic teacher to our three boys and always asked about them.

Sheila and family, I am so sorry to hear Aidan has passed. Aidan was a great rugby coach, teacher, and good friend to all the students at the De La. Playing schools rugby in Skerries with Aiden as coach is a time we all still look back on with fond memories. All the best for the future.

Condolences to Sheila and all the Sherlock family. Aidan and I were in the De La and college together and then started our teaching careers on the same day back at the De La. He was a natural teacher from day one, giving me tips and insights by day two!
He will be greatly and sadly missed but touched so many as can be seen from these condolence messages.
