Aidan Ward

Just heard of Aidans recent death.
I knew Aidan when we worked together in DeLeuw Chadwick OhEocha in the 70's and early 80's. He was a great Engineer and an expert in road design. We enjoyed many a pint in the Mount St area on a Friday evening. He was great company to be with. May he rest in peace.

I was so sorry to hear of the recent passing of Aidan. As a work colleague, he was warm and friendly. It is so sad that his life was cut short by illness that he could not enjoy a long and healthy retirement with his wife Mary and family. May he rest in peace.

I've just seen Aidan's notice in last week's IT. I knew him for some years after DeLeuw Chadwick Ó hEocha merged with Ewbank Preece in Fitzwilliam Place. A good man to work with. I never knew he was a singer. A bass I'm sure. May he rest in peace.

Mary, Aidan and I were classmates at Belvedere College - class of 67. We met occasionally through our college years and again, some 46 years later in 2017 when we reminisced over a pint together in the Horseshoe Bar. It was a good evening and it was pleasing to stay ‘connected’ thereafter through random posting on the ‘Class of 67’ chat group.
May Aidan rest in peace and I pray you and your family are comforted at this sad time. God bless.

Very sorry to read of Aidan’s passing - my condolences to his family. Aidan was one of the first people I met when I joined DeLeuw Chadwick OhEocha and I worked closely with him on and off over the years until he retired. Always a pleasure. May he rest in peace.

James, I was so sorry to hear the sad news of your father's death. It is a pity that the choir will be unable to sing at the funeral but I am sure we will all be there in spirit.

His illness at a time of celebration was difficult for him and you all but it is a cruel blow that his life ended so soon. May God console and comfort all of you in your big loss and that your memories will ease the pain in some way.
