I would like to express my deepest deepest condolences to Eva, Stephen, Maureen, Anthony, and all the O’Gorman Harwood, families and all relatives for the loss of beautiful Aine. I was extremely fond of my Aunt Áine who l found was generous, loving, kind and funny to a fault and most importantly had time for all . I’ve spent a few summers with Aine, and Graham in Clonmel. I treasure those memories because she was the greatest host you could wish for. Took time to show and do things with me in Southern Ireland. We also spent time together in London when she visited Eamon . She was a wonderful lady who I will miss enormously .I went for a coffee with a Aine and Maureen with my Brother John and his wife Jackie in Bray September 2022 . Superb Afternoon.May God bless Aine : Rest in peace Aine : Thank you so much for being such a great Aunt :Laurence

Your Mum Eva was a total one off! It was like she lived on speed, driven by an extra super-charged Duracell battery! Yes, she had that energy and irrepressible enthusiasm for life that made her an unstoppable moving force for good. And she wasn't one to let a little disability like major hearing loss slow her down either. Far from it. Indeed, she was a better communicator than most of us.
There wasn't much news that got past your mum unnoticed. And she had so many friends who would pop in for a chat and listen like a child to some amazing retelling of a great local story. (Your dad used to say they got more and more creatively embellished each time they were recounted)
And that can-do enthusiasm for life encompassed all those club and voluntary activities she was involved in. There are probably not many of us who haven't got a water colour or two of Aine's hanging somewhere in our house. And we know about all the selfless, local voluntary work Mum was involved in supporting other individuals with similar hearing challenges.
So thank you Eva for blessing our lives with a mum who has given probably all of us such caring, unique and happy memories. Like that super-charged battery, they will never dim but forever enrich and inspire our lives. She was indeed a one off!
God bless you.
