It is with the greatest os sadness that I have learned of the passing of Alan. We worked together in Ascon for many years and enjoyed many a good laugh and joke there. I have so many memories meeting up with Alan in Ballydonoghue and going out in Ballybunion. We met up regularly when i first moved to Dublin. Always looked forward to his company. Would have liked to have met more in recent years but always loved it when we did meet. The greatest legacy he has left are his two wonderful kids and a devoted wife and loving family. I had the pleasure of working with Alan on the indoor arena in Dublin where we formed a great bond which endured both of us going our separate ways to different parts of the Middle East, and yet we still kept in touch.
