I have only just heard of the passing of Alan. I am very sorry him and all his family. We were childhood friends in Sallynoggin growing up. He was a good guy and a great boxer. He had a great sense of humour and was one of the lads. Gone too soon. RIP Alan.

I knew Alan as a member at Ballykisteen, he will be missed, our club is all the richer for having had Alan as a member. RIP

You even boiled the kettle in Bally for yourself when you called to see us,you built our front wall,and your kindness to our son in law will always be remembered will miss your visits and our chats, such a proud Dad and Grandad,God rest your soul.
