I worked with Alan at Clydesdale Bank in Glasgow. He was bright, enthusiastic and quick-witted. A real joy to be around.

I am so very sorry for you loss.

I remember Alan. Sat with him one afternoon in George Square for a couple of hours for a career coaching session at the start of his grad programme with CYBG. Nice laddie, scatter-gun thoughts, big dreams of doing good in the world, but funny, warm and dry of humour, heart in the right place, and trying to find his way forward. My condolences to all of Alan’s family and friends.

I worked with Alan a few years back in the IT department at the Clydesdale Bank in Glasgow. He was a bright and hard working young person, who impressed us with his ability to pick up new ideas really quickly. There was such a great energy to him, coupled with an infectious cheeky wee smile. He was a credit to his parents.

Such a terrible loss.

Alan arrived in Glasgow with a smile from ear to ear declaring ‘People make Glasgow’ his favourite saying which is branded across the city. However, the truth is ‘Alan made Glasgow’. He brought the greatest kindness and light wherever he went and we had the privilege Of many Scottish adventures with Alan. He will forever have the biggest place in our hearts and home, especially as we have our ‘good hearty dinners’.

To Gerry, Catherine, Paul, Darragh and Ciana. Our hearts are broken for you and we think of you and pray for you daily. Our love for Alan will
Only ever grow. We pray that he rests in peace.
