Dear Mary Rose and to all of Alex's family, my sincerest sympathies on your loss. I started my first job in 1993 in BIM, reporting to Alex. He was a wonderful mentor, so patient and gentle - I learnt from the best. Most of all, Alex cared about his clients and always went the extra mile. He was exemplar in his public service role and taught me so much which I still hold dear today.
