I am a priest of the Diocese of Clifton aa resident at St. Joseph's Home, Bristol and I want to convey sympathy to Alice's family. Alice gave unstinting service to the priests and our Diocese over many years. She was a superb Housekeeper to a numbers of priests since the early 1950s. Priests and Bishops were always given a cead mile failte on any visit to a Presbytery, plus a great meal.
I visited Alice regularly here at St. Joseph's Home and I feel sure that she has gone straight to heaven. She lived a an holy life, Rosary Beads in herd hands and frequently praying in Chapel. Thank you, Alice. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Sincere sympathy to Alice's nieces and nephews at her going home to God. Used to meet her when home on holidays with her sister Mary to visit their mother whom I attended on 1st Fridays in Moyglass. I was well aware of her commitments to priests and church in Clifden Diocese and in Bristol, peace to her soul. May God reward her for all her generous service to so many. Remembering her in my Masses and prayers, fr Conor.
