Sincere sympathy to all Alma's family. We were her neighbours in no.46 from 1988 to 1991. She was such a warm, friendly lady, very welcoming. She knew my mother in her youth (Rebecca Buckley Glynn) so that Cork connection made our arrival in Nutley Ave even more welcoming. She introduced me to golf in Elm Park with the Nutley Resident's Golf group. She was always so glamorous and always interested in family. Our condolences to you all. RIP Alma

Deepest sympathy to Breeda and to the McArdle family on the death of Alma, a very special lady, so proud of her Ursuline/Cork heritage. I remember her so well from Old Ursulines Hockey Club and the Cork Ursuline Past Pupils' Union, a branch of which she was instrumental in establishing in Dublin in the late 1960s. She was ever a generous hostess to any Ursuline team playing in Dublin. May Alma rest in peace and reap the rewards of her goodness.

Paul, Mark,Virginia & Rachel We were all so so sad when we heard about the passing of Alma. She was a wonderful person with a great presence. Alma was great friend to our mum Nancy. Alma,Rachel & Nancy had shared some great lunches & chats over the years especially in Audrys( hairdresser). As it has been said before the Nutley Mammies were very very special and amazing women.
It was lovely to hear Mark recall our youthful days from the. ‘road’ we had a fabulous time, great fun & great mammies. Rest in Peace Alma. Anne Colette & Mary.
