Sincere sympathy to Andy's family and friends on this sad occasion. We first met in 1967 as classmates in the forestry college group in Kinnitty and Shelton, where he was administrator in chief, and later on at forestry reunions which he always supported. There were other meetings such as Croke Park where his support for Mayo footballers and Leitrim hurlers knew no bounds – he made the headlines in 2019 when Leitrim won the Lory Meagher Cup. He was also an excellent forester and loyal member of Society of Irish Foresters' events. I have fond memories in particular of a study tour to California with Andy and fellow foresters including a memorable visit to Yosemite National Park, California. It was a pleasure to have known him and enjoyed his company. Go ndéanfaidh Dia trócaire ar a anam.

Our sincere condolences to Mary, Martin and the extended Duffy family on the sad loss of your beloved Andy.
He came to Ballinamore to work alongside me over 40 years ago and lived for a time just 2 doors up.from us.
Many's a good party was had with the friends and neighbours in Trathnona and Andy was always to the fore for the fun and the devilment. Some great times and memories made while working, socialising and volunteering with him over the years.
Some very lively discussions were had on all things Gaa and all matters of the world, touching very briefly on politics as we had very different views on that subject
He will be solely missed from Cannaboe.
May his gentle soul rest in peace
