Dear Thérèse, James, Hélène and the wider Moore family – I had the enormous pleasure of hiring Andrew into the AIG Investments family nearly 30 years ago and working with him for nearly 20. He proved to be someone that everyone wanted on their team, and a born leader. Andrew quickly took on more and more responsibilities and became critical to the organisation – not just for his superior client-focused approach to everything he did, but for his ability to raise everyone up around him. He truly was a remarkable person to know – a gentleman, a positive force, fun, kind, a support when needed, an inspiration always. It’s an absolute tragedy that Andrew has left this life so young but what he’s given back in his short years is more than most people could ever hope for. May his beautiful soul rest in peace and may his beloved family take comfort from his treasured time with us – he truly made the world a better place and we’ll never forget him.

Every time something needed to solved or resolved, Andrew was there with intelligence and grace. He always made time in his busy calendar to meet with me when I visited from America. Everyone is right that he was a true business partner and consummate gentleman who will be greatly missed beyond his tremendous work contributions. When speaking of truly respected and valued business leaders, often referenced is Maya Angelou's quote, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Andrew accomplished a great many things in business and led a wonderful investments team through so many challenges, but I will remember how I always left our conversations and meetings in a better, positive frame of mind.
