I was deeply shocked and upset to learn of Andrews death. I only knew Andrew through twitter, he was one of the first few people I got to know and we had great times and banter, he was great for a one liner !!!! He tried to assist my hubby in getting to the route of which beer's were causing his migraines! a couple of years later and much testing it was decided that it was just beer itself !!!! He spoke about you all lovingly and often, he was a gentleman and I miss him chirping in on twitter, it is a duller place without him.

With deepest sympathy. I loved all my times with Andrew. He was welcoming, kind, interested, and interesting, and very proud of you all. Whether, beer, cider, food, technology, events, or anything else he turned his eye to, he looked for the best, wanted you to do your best, and helped you on your way almost without you noticing. We are better for his being here. He is and will be missed.

I am very sorry for your loss Susan and family. When I joined PRII Toastmasters in 2003 Andrew was always very welcoming to me and I learned a lot from him. May he rest in peace.

Very sad to hear of Andrews untimely death. He did so much to support the Irish craft beer movement over many years. Andrew was also a great friend, living very close to me, so we would meet up for a few pints and a good chat. My heart goes out to Susan, Jenna and Sophie and his entire family. I was so sorry to hear of Andy's passing. He was a lovely sailing partner and seriously raised our game at the National Yacht Club Quiz events. He had an amazing breath of knowledge and interest in so many subjects - and brought a rye eye to matters nautical, especially. He was a delightful guy who greatly enriched our lives. Many members of the National YC asked me to pass on sincere sympathies. Bernice also asked me to pass on her sympathies to yourself, Jenna and Sophie.

Deeply saddened on hearing the loss a good friend, our hearts go out to Jenna Sophie and Susan, we always looked forward to seeing Andrew and family at the Dun Laoghaire farmer's market for hot cups of chai and his witty humour and wisdom. Our deep felt condolences. Andrew was such a regular feature at the Taney fairs, quiz nights and socials and he contributed so much to the community that we’re struggling to come to terms with your loss. Susan, we are thinking of you along with Jenna and Sophia at this tragic time.

Andrew was a warm, funny and generous gentleman, the first time I met him he made me feel so welcome, like we were old friends. We didn’t meet often, and definitely not in a long while, but we communicated regularly and I’ll miss those exchanges dearly.

Andrew was a good true friend who I have known for about 35 years and we never fell out or had a cross word. Yes we had disagreements and heated arguments but always remained friends. He had a wicked sense of humour and a great laugh and could drink me under the table. I was always impressed with his resolve and sense of justice. His kindness knew no bounds and he was friendly to everyone he met. Susan Sophie and Jennifer should be rightly proud of him.
