Sincere condolences to the Smith family. I am very sad to hear of his passing. I played a lot of bridge with Andrew during the pandemic, only recently less than 2 weeks. I will miss him a lot. I won a tournament with Andrew, we got vouchers for a restaurant which he gave to me.. I now have no one to play with on Saturday night. RIP Andrew

Sincere condolences Karen and extended family. I played so much bridge with Andrew over the years and always loved our games. Karen ur dad was a gentle kind man. I got to know him well over the years and we had a lovely friendship. Last time I played with him was a hospice morning. He won a metal Christmas tree that sings a carol. He came straight back to the table and gave it to me. I will have that forever. I will miss Andrew hugely. Rip my friend

Also, I played with him frequently in Navan Road online where he was evidently very popular and greeted at every table like an old friend. Andrew loved his Bridge. I’m so glad he had the opportunity to play so much of it in the past couple of years. My sincerest condolences to his family and partner. May he rest in peace.
