I got to know him well over the years and we had a lovely friendship. Last time I played with him was a hospice morning. He won a metal Christmas tree that sings a carol. So very sorry to hear of Andrew’s passing. I played bridge against him many times in Malahide where he won consistently. Also, I played with him frequently in Navan Road online where he was evidently very popular and greeted at every table like an old friend. Andrew loved his Bridge.
