To dear Evelyn, Jean, Anne, Patricia, Brian & Niamh. John & I send our sincere sympathy to you all on the sad passing of your beloved Mother and my dear Sister & Godmother, Angela. I have so many wonderful memories through the years. Angela had many talents and I remember her teaching me how to do embroidery but, although I did my best, it just did not look quite like hers! Angela was kind, generous and great fun. She always spoke proudly of each of you. When Jimmy passed, she would tell us how much she missed him and then would say how lucky she was to have you all and how good you were to her. We always enjoyed our visits to Angela in Marymount when she would reminisce about the past. Her legacy will live on through you all. Rest in Peace Angela. We will miss you. xxx Veronica & John

Rest in peace... hope you and mum are having a great catch up. Love Catherine & Sean xxxx

Dearest Jean & the Connell family,

please accept my deepest sympathies at this sad time. My memories of Angela go back to the early to mid eighties when I worked with Jean at the James Connolly memorial hosp. We would on occasions go back to the family home in Woodview Coolmine for lunch, usually at the end of the month as we were both skint! Jean would say 'My Mam is going to make us a sandwich'. Which Angela did, but corn beef was always my least favourite!. I always ate the sandwiches as Angela would welcome you with a big welcoming smile, always hospitable and cheery. My memories were that Angela loved a chat and a bit of banter and Jean and me were often rushing back to work! My lasting impression was that Angela would go out of her way to help people which is the legacy she has left behind as shown my her son and daughters. May she rest in peace and her legacy live on, best wishes to all of you xx
