I offer my sincere condolences to all Ann's extended family. May she rest in peace. My memories of Ann and Bob go back a long way to when the children were young and granny was part of the household in Greenmount. How they found time to be active members of Fine Gael and spend many nights canvassing for my late husband, Seán, remains a mystery to me but is gratefully remembered. Ann and Bob were exceptional people, a bed in heaven to them.

My sincere condolences to Frances & all the Burton family ... such great memories of working with Mrs Burton in CADA & in panto. She listened intently to my ideas for costumes and was able to work around budgets often to come up with costumes/additions to costumes out of thin air! I especially remember cups of tea and a moan/gossip/laugh on a Saturday morning when she would arrive in with bags of materials ready to transform magically into amazing costumes! She appreciated my work and I appreciated hers - who couldn’t ... never forgotten especially when I hear panto I think of her & Pat Mahon - some women! May she rest in special peace 💛

So sad to hear of Anns passing we laughed a lot and shared many a cup of tea when I was teaching in Cada on a Saturday morning Ann knew my mum Maura Sheehan since childhood and "THE hall" long ago and of course my dad too I rhink of Bob Ann Mom and dad the fabulous four will surely be Gods gift to heaven where I knowthwy will look out for us all until we meet them again in heaven Ann like my mum was looked after by the fabulous nurses and staff in marymoint dame room same warda few years apart my dincete condolances to you Anns beloved family of whom she was so so proud Thank you for sharing her with us in life and now st her passing ❤
