In 2002, I was recovering from heart surgery in Dalkey Manor (far from my home and family in Enniskillen). I opened my eyes to find Nancy and Pat standing at the bottom of my bed, of course laden down with all kind of goodies. I have never forgotten their kindness to me, a stranger they had never met. It was a gesture so typical of Nancy’s sister, Sheila. My deepest sympathies to you all. May Nancy and Pat, now reunited, rest in peace. Their good deeds go before them. Sr Edel Bannon

With sincere condolences to all the Dullaghan family.

I knew Nancy for 60 years, having worked with Pat initially in Louth County Council back in the early 1960s, and then for many years in Dun Laoghaire Corporation, followed by Dublin County Council. (We have a further connection in that the Clarke and Dullaghan family graves are in adjacent plots in Kilkerley cemetery outside Dundalk.)

Brighid and I are thinking of you at this very sad time.

Dear Joanna I am so very sorry to read of the passing of your Mum, just so soon after the first anniversary of your Dad. My very, very sincere condolences to you, your sisters and brother. Joanna, it is so hard to lose a parent but to lose both in very quick succession is almost too much to bear. Only those of us who have been through it understand your now acute pain and sorrow. Sinead and I lost Dad in March 2019 and then Mum, very unexpectedly following a car accident in Dec last year. So I really do feel your pain. I have amazing memories of running through our back garden in Anglesey Park, then through the Kelly's, over to you in Springhill and then both of us would run down to the bottom of your garden through the hedge and into the Sheehans to play all day long with Chloe - long, long time ago dear Joanna but very happy memories. Mind yourself. Take good care. If I can do anything, or you need anything, or even just a silent weep with a very, very old friend I am here. email niamhbuckleyuk@gmail.com Tel 00 44 73 93 63 55 09 or 4 Field Gardens Steventon Abigndon Oxford OX13 6TE UK Please take care. I will be thinking of you over the next difficult days, weeks and months Sending a very big virtual hug your old friend Niamh

Please accept our deepest sympathy to Caroline, James, Joanna and Louise on the passing of your mother, Nancy, a lovely, helpful friend and neighbour. She was always there ready and willing to help out. We fondly remember Nancy organising her cronies to help out in the background with the breakfast and especially with the clean up afterwards when the churches on the hill meet to celebrate the Sonrise at Easter. She will be missed.

The sweetest lady to walk the earth. Her kindness knew no bounds and her heart, character, cracking sense of humour and good will gave us all something to aspire to. A true angel among us and we are all beyond blessed to have such an incredible role model in our lives. I know you have been waiting to rest in paradise with Pops this past year. We will continue to celebrate your life by drinking tea likes it's going cold and always closing the door behind us!

We all love you and always will.
