My sincere sympathy to Mrs. Moore and Anna's family on the loss of your dearly loved Anna.
Within Anna was a deep well of Insight and Wisdom which was rooted in Truth and Integrity.
She saw all those who came into her life through a lens of love, acceptance and compassion. She gave time and attention to nurturing relationships within her family and her wide circle of friends. Anna's art work and cards will remain as touchstones for all of us who are blessed to have known her.
— Catherine O'Connell
I knew Anna during her time in Bantry, Co Cork in the 1990s. A strong woman, who was always thought-provoking and was a champion for the less privileged. Together, we ran a life drawing class for a number of years. She was a true artist, who inspired those of us less talented than her! I admired her bravery going to Namibia to work and loved the way she later conveyed the African landscapes through her painting. She will be missed by so many people whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace.
— Clare Heardman
My heartfelt condolences at Anna's passing. I just found out this morning, Ivan McMahon emailed me to let me know that she had passed. I have so many happy memories of Anna... Anglesea Ter. in Cork, parties at the house in Tramore. Her art - especially the Namibia period!!!. Her exhibitions in Dublin. Her laughter and her dry wit. My prayer is that you remember the best of her like I do. For some reason ye were on my mind recently... especially Esther and her marathon bike ride from Dublin to Cork and sitting around the kitchen table at my home in Bishopstown... Good times. Hugs, Irene

Anna, like your name of grace and beauty, you danced a rainbow of colour across earth and heart and page and canvas.
I am honoured to have a small piece of your work hanging on my wall, as I am honoured to have known you. A woman of beauty with a goddess- given talent and an everlasting smile.
Bless your soul.
To all of Anna’s family on her passing and esp to her mother of whom she so often spoke, comhbhrón óm’ chroí

So sad that Anna’s life here has ended. Our sincere condolences to her family, extended family and close friends. As an artist, Anna was a gifted with intelligence and integrity. Anna was also a lady and I know she was like family to some of our mutual friends. She was proactively out there with her art, showing us how it can be done. Her exhibitions in CIT and in the Ionad Cultúr in Ballyvourney were remarkably strong and impressive. She availed of so many opportunities to get the work seen. I know that however busy Anna may have been with her work, she continued to have time to reach out and share with others.
— Dominic and Brigid Daly
Anna

I remember your plates in your kitchen in Cork in 1991. They were all different, shapes and sizes and colours made by different potters . I honour that memory by always having different ones in my kitchen too. I love that you brought colours to my kitchen. I remember the hospitality kindness and safety you offered me as I was doing my reflexology course in Cork. I was pregnant with Pema then and felt safe with you . Thankyou
I am sad today and sorry because I did not keep contact with you . I am sad for me that I didn't stay longer with you when I bumped into you over the years. I would have learned to see both the unjust and beautiful world through your eyes . Sorry.
A true and good heart Anna you open mine now .
May you be painting the heavens with glory and joy now Anna in peace and rest joy and fun
I look forward to seeing you one day again. Aisling

I have many treasured memories of my cousin Anna. One that stands out was when she, her mum ,and a friend, had an art exhibition in Tramore exhibiting many of their works Many friends and family were gathered and there was a constant supply of refreshments. It was a lovely afternoon and Anna said to me that it gave her such pleasure to exhibit her work with her mums It touched me. I thought it was a lovely meaningful comment so Anna ! We will all miss her so much.

I loved Anna and my friendship with her. She helped me to speak up for myself and we both shared a passion for speaking up for others and helping them find their voices. I share my days with her through her beautiful paintings that hang throughout my home. Each road she painted takes me on a journey and that journey brings me joy and strength. I will walk with Anna always through those paintings. Deepest and heartfelt sympathy to Anna's dear Mum, siblings, inlaws, nephews and nieces, and many friends.

Sincere condolences to Anna’s family and friends. In 1999, we worked with the San communities in Namibia. She lived up to her high standards for justice and equality with huge courage and determination. Her genuine commitment inspired me about what real community work is all about. We subsequently maintained a loyal, caring friendship despite working in different countries. She made me believe in myself and remained a catalyst for many new ideas and insights that helped me grow into the person I presently am. Via her friends’ whatsapp, I witnessed in shocked disbelief her very brave but unfair fight against her illness. It did not take her away, though, because Anna will live on in all of us.

My sincere sympathy to Anna's family and friends on her recent death. Her talents and good nature have been recalled by many and rightly so. Our paths crossed on country walks, in better times. She always had her camera and the images she produced from the photos were wonderful. May she rest in peace now - she will not be forgotten.

So very sad to lose Anna. A wonderful artist, community worker and friend. I have special memories of her making images on the beach with stones, a favourite of Anna's. The precious opening of the joint exhibition in the Coastguard with Mrs Moore and her sister-in-law; three artists in one family. Anna's wonderful paintings of her beloved Africa including a beauty now hanging in the hospital. Her encouragement of others, including myself. My heart goes out to her other friends and her beloved family.
— Catherine Drea
Sincere sympathy to Eleanor, Anna's family and to her many friends. Anna was an incredibly loyal and much valued friend. Her integrity was the very essence of her being. She faced her illness with a bravery that was inspirational. One of her last WhatsApp messages to us (her group of friends) was that we would find one joyful thing in every day just as she was doing. She will be so missed by so many. Leaba i measc na naomh go riabh aici

My sincere condolances to the family and friends of Anna.
Anna was an inspirtional woman, courageous and authentic in her life, frienships and work.
Our paths crossed around the time she was deciding to go to Namibia , to work with the nomadic San people, and again at the start of her exploration of herself as an artist.
Anna dreamed big and she followed her dreams. She was a"no limits "woman in her vision for other women and social justice. Thank you Anna .I will always fondly remember our sharing our hope and fears but mostly our hopes....you were brilliant .
