My deepest sympathy and condolences to the Haywood Family. May Anthony rest in peace
— Senator Lisa Chambers
Deeply saddened and shocked to hear of Anthony’s passing.

As a fellow colleague within the Mayo Arts Squad, Anthony made everybody feel welcomed and his passion for both arts and 80’s bands in particular was evident through his daily conversations and discussions around the music that he loved and the art that he created.

The cold and dark morning’s during the winter seasons always felt that bit little brighter whenever Anthony was around.

I’ll miss his passionate conversations and warm friendly demeanour.

With regret, I will not be able to attend his funeral but sending on my deepest condolences and thoughts to all of Anthony’s friends and family.

Rest easy, Anthony.
— Luke Dunne
