He was a true gent and just like his father before him was so good to my late Mother and Father Mary and Michael and to my sister Jane who still lives in the family home in Nursery Drive. A huge piece of Ballinlough has now gone. May he rest in peace.

He was always kind and helpful, especially when a particular family car had a habit of breaking down in transit!! Later, when he was doing the garden, we would sort out the affairs of the world as well!! He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

My sincere condolences to all the Bowen family ,Tony was a great friend and and always there if you wanted a hand .He epitomized the word friend because he would never say no if you asked him a favour .
I will miss the little chats we would regularly have when he would stop in the van if he was passing the garage and I was out on the road. He would always be smiling even if he was under pressure on a particular day and then he would finish the chat with a toss of his head backwards and say "we better keep going" and off he would go.
Tony had great pride in his family and will be greatly missed by them and by many of the Ballinlough community. May he rest in peace.
