Anthony Haniver

There is much sadness here in Roslyn Park College today as we learned of Anthony's passing. One of our past pupils called to tell us the tragic news. Anthony was a gentle giant. He shared many a cigarette with staff and students alike and he was a great man for 'the chats'. He loved his music and often let me listen in on one of his ear phones to what he was tuned into. He came to college early every day, often cycling in and his calm and welcoming presence made new students feel at home.
We are all the better for having had Anthony in our lives and many people are living their best lives because of his encouragement. RIP forever Anthony.

Farewell my wonderful friend. The best of the best! Sincere, good and so loyal to everyone. Your loss will be felt for years and by so many. I will never ever forget all the great times

Dear Rob, Sacha, Louise and John,

We are so sorry to learn of Anthony’s passing. Anthony and James were school mates, band mates and very close friends as teenagers.

James: I have so many warm memories of our time together: sharing our love of music, driving our teachers crazy with our incessant drumming on schools desks, playing our favourite songs in the rehearsal room, and going to summer camps together. Anthony was an incredibly loyal and caring friend.

He will be forever in our hearts.
