Deepest sympathy to Rosaleen and family on the death of Anthony. When Anthony and Rosaleen came to teach dancing in Ahane back in the late 50s it was a major event in our lives. The pupils came from every corner of the parish, from Coolnahila to Gardenhill and everywhere in between. They treated us like their own children. Anthony was firm, fair and fun, he will never be forgotten. May he Rest In Peace.

Ba mhian liom mo chomhbhrón a chur in iúl do mhuintir Tony. It was with deep sadness that I heard of Tony's passing. I have fond memories of Tony teaching Irish dancing on the MA Irish Traditional Dance Performance programme at the University of Limerick and also in the dance studio in O'Connell Street, Limerick. Memories flooded back of Féile Luimní in the early 1950s - when I was a young boy - and of Anthony, in his prime as an outstanding dancer, thrilling packed houses at the old St John's Pavillion hall or the 'Tech' in O'Connell Avenue, with his athleticism and fine footwork.
