I got to know Tony down in Clearys pub, enjoyed our chats and stories we shared, loved hearing the stories about the old Dublin Characters he engaged with in his life, Tony was one those Characters without even knowing it, my heart goes out to all his family and friends at this sad time, Rest in Peace Tony.

I didn't know Tony personally at all, not even his name. But I always saw him down around Grattan Crescent and he would acknowledge the madra and myself. Another local gone to his reward but too soon. RIP Anto.

So sorry to hear of Tony's passing. All I can say is that we have a lost a genuine character. Tony possessed a massive sense of humour. You were always guaranteed to have a good laugh. I can honestly say I never left he's company without a smile. Sleep Well. Tony. You'll be sadly missed.
