Dear cousins Marian and Kevin, I am so very sorry for the loss of your adored Father. To Marie and Kian, please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your treasured Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. To Aunties Annie and Rena, you will be in my thoughts at this difficult time on the loss of your beloved brother Arthur. I have Wonderful, such Happy memories of Uncle Arthur - as a child visiting him with my parents, on numerous occasions in Fermoy Road. Then, in later years, I had the magical surprise and privilege of booking him on his Aer Lingus flight to Heathrow Airport. We shared a lovely coffee and pastry, prior to his boarding. My colleagues and I were so happy after spending time with him - he had this great charisma and winning smile. Moreover, I will always treasure the very special happy memories of Uncle Arthur attending my wedding in Cork. If was the 'icing on the cake' for me, but more importantly, for my beloved Mother Mary to have her brother Arthur there by her side on the day. They shared a very special bond and friendship. Uncle Arthur, you brought beauty and kindness to this world in So many ways, but for me personally, the kindest deed you did were your numerous loyal telephone calls, every Saturday evening to my beloved Mother, when there was a decline in her health. You lit up her world - thank you for doing that. Your winning smile, charity and enless kindness will never be erased.
May your beautiful soul rest peacefully - Your niece Bernadette
— Bernadette Geary
