Kealan, David, Allan & family.
Deepest Condolences to you all.
I had a great friendship with Audrey and I'm saddened to hear because she so deserved to enjoy her later years. She was the very definition of hard working. I was a 23 year old bank official and she was the Regional Director and we struck up what was probably an unlikely but what i can only describe as a great friendship. We had some serious laughs along the way and she encouraged my studies. We lost contact after I left the bank but i remembered her often and hoped our paths would cross again.
Audrey was an inspiration especially to women of all ages in what was predominantly senior male management. She took an interest in all people and encouraged them to succeed.

Audrey always spoke of you Kealan, Allan & David. Will always remember her with great fondness and that spark in her eyes.
Rest in peace Audrey until we meet again
— Sharon Walsh

I had the privilege to work with Audrey, study for our Masters together and sit on the MFI board together. This was a special privilege given Audrey's sense of purpose, challenge, fun and integrity ...there was never a dull moment and the one thing I was left in no doubt about was her love for you Kealan, and especially for David and Allan. May Audrey rest in peace.
— John Irwin
My heartfelt sympathies to Kealon, David, Alan and all the Symes and Boyd families.
I still cant believe Audrey has left our world and my heart goes out to all of you on this terrible loss which was too sudden and too soon.
I have known Audrey for 30 odd years through AIB and more recently with MFI and she was one of the best people I have ever worked with in that she was always focused on doing the right thing by colleagues and customers alike. She was probably one of the hardest working people I have worked with but I always enjoyed the craic with her along the way which she was great for.
She was always chatting about her family and how proud she was of her lads who in fairness did her proud at the weekend.
Rest easy old friend...
— Mags Brennan ex AIB

My deepest condolences to all of the Symes & Boyd family and especially to Kealon, David & Allan on the loss of your fabulous Wife & Mum. The service on Saturday was beautiful & Audrey would have approved - a high standard to reach. To use her lovely ‘three things’ habit to describe Audrey, from a work colleague of over 30 years; Firstly - Audrey was brilliant at everything she did - no half measures - a total professional, Secondly - Audrey’s devotion to people- she loved to see her team thrive and she talked so proudly about ‘her boys’ & Thirdly but by no means last nor least - Audrey was a genuine, trustworthy & all around good friend. May she rest in peace.
— Catherine Moroney

My sincere condolences to Kealan, David and Allan and also to all of Audrey's family. I was very saddened to learn of Audrey's sudden and unexpected passing. I worked with Audrey for a number of years and she was a fantastic colleague, instructor and friend throughout this time. She never gave anything less than 100% of her energy, and inspired others to do that also. There wasn't a day that any grumble didn't end up with a smile and a laugh. Her love for her family was also a shining example, and it was obvious that this is what she was most grateful for and what gave her the most pleasure. Thank you Audrey...
— Hilary A Rollins, AIB

My sincere condolences to Kealan David and Allan. From working with Audrey on the board of Mifcrofinance Ireland I got to know Audrey well in such a short period of time and as was said this morning, she learnt a lot about me too through her inquisitive mind. She shone in her role as Chair of MFI - she set out and fullfilled many ambitions for the role and was always inclusive of all round her. Her light went out too quickly and sorry that her next chapter is not to be realised - a truly lovely warm lady he was so proud of her boys, always speaking so fondly of them and of her husband Kealan.

Kealan, David and Allan, it was with great sadness that I heard of Audrey's all-too-early passing.

They broke the mould when they made Audrey; she was, as, many have said, a passionate and driven colleague who was a professional to her fingertips, always acting with the highest integrity and value set.

I fondly remember us working together in many areas over the years, but today I especially recall her huge happiness and joy on her wedding day and the obvious love between her and you Kealan.

Gone too soon, but leaving a huge legacy, may her gentle soul rest in peace.
— Donie Wiley
