Thinking of you all so much at this tragic and sad time. We were blessed to have Ben touch our lives over the past two years as Aoife’s friend from Oysterhaven. We passed many a car ride with him up or down to Oysterhaven or in or out of a party in Cork. He was a treasure and all our memories with him are good ones - whether cycling around Inis Bofin, climbing Diamond Hill or swimming in Connemara on that lovely holiday that we were so lucky to have him share with us. We’ll miss him so much. He was talented, knowledgeable, capable, friendly but most importantly kind and caring. May Ben rest in peace and May you be comforted by your love for each other and by the light and joy he brought to everyone’s life.

i did not know ben personally, however from listening to the speeches from his father and girlfriend ciara,my heart is aching for you all. Ciara, you showed great courage and strength and i can not belive to imagine how hard it was for you, you should be incredibly proud of yourself, we know ben would be proud of you. it is so clear that you loved him uncoditionally and it is truly beautiful, just know that you will find peace and happiness again and ben will be with you every step of the way. to his heartbroken parents, siblings and grandparents, find comfort in knowing ben is always with ye and guiding ye.
