So sorry to hear of Berna's passing. She was always there for a chat and she was a lovely woman. May she rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to all Berna’s friends. A tremendous lady, full of character, mischief and wonderful humour. Will miss your calls and support, but hope that you are reunited in heaven with Martina. The world is a little darker without your unique soul.

So shocked and sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Berna I only found out today. She was truly a great friend and Co worker, I have such good memories of our times together laughing and chatting. May she rest in peace

Dearest Berna little did I know when we spoke last Saturday it would be the last time. Sandymount has lost a precious Pearl and every time I pass I will miss and remember you. Jim and I were fortunate to have such a beautiful neighbour. You will be forever in the fond memories of Breda Jim and Blaithin Carroll Sandymount Road. My deepest sympathy to neighbors and friends on the death of Berna. I knew Berna from popping in and out to the local pharmacy where she was most helpful and friendly. And, I also knew her from Balbriggan Golf Club, where she was a popular member for many years. Her sudden passing very sad. May she rest in peace.

So sad to hear of your sudden passing Berna. We have such fond memories of our time living in No 3. Such wonderful neighbours. Kindred garden and animal lovers. Always ready for a cuppa or a chat in the field. Playing endless games of cards to entertain the boys. Opening up your home and kitchen on Christmas Day so we could have a second oven on the go!! So saddened to hear of Berna’s death. I will always remember her making me promise to bring my cats home with me from Canada. It took 6 months but we got them here in 2006 so my 12 year old would not miss them.
