I’m very sad to learn of Bernadette’s (Bernie) passing.
My deepest sympathies to the entire family on the loss and to all who loved her.
A quote from a nephew, “She was a very nice and helping person and I’ll always remember her for that. A very genuine person.”
Most of my memories are of Bernie in her teenage years ;
Very Long black hair - Heavy duty eye makeup - Trendy fashion clothes and classy makeup.
Bernie was my travel buddy often on weekend trips to Fivemiletown and I valued her company when I drove from Sion to Fivemiletown over the Fintona mountains; she enjoyed the little trips to the hotel and pubs in Fivemiletown on visits with my aunt Maggie and my dad.
Bernie was quite clever in her own special and unique way and was definitely nobody’s fool!
RIP Bernie.
