Heartfelt sympathy to auntie Francie, Roy and the extended Kenny clan on the passing of our precious and beloved Bernadette. We thought the world of auntie Bernadette, we all loved her and have fond memories over the years of going to see her in Portlaoise, she would take a good look at you and give a little 'chuckle' when she heard your voice. It's the end of an era for my father Brian's generation of the Kenny's in Ireland, a family of 11, may they all enjoy a happy family reunion in their now Heavenly home. May Bernadette's kind and gentle soul rest in peace and may her parents Paddy and Annie greet her with open arms at the gates of Heaven. Farewell aunt Bernadette. A huge debt of gratitude goes to all who have cared for Bernadette so tenderly over the years but particularly to the staff (her family) past and present of Serenity Lodge whose unceasing professionalism, dedication and care will always be remembered , it is a true testament to her long life.
