Bertie and Prue were wonderfully kind neighbours and friends in Pembroke Lane. We all miss them. Prue's roses still bloom in Number 51 and are a delightful reminder of them both. My sincere condolences.

I had the privilege of working for him many years ago in An Foras Forbartha. What a
gentleman he was - always considerate, had a wonderful sense of humour and was great at telling a story too! Missed our chats around Malahide when he moved to Killaloe Lovely memories of both your parents.

So glad we had the pleasure of his company in July 2019 when a group of us from the former Foras Forbartha travelled to Nenagh to have lunch with him in the Abbey Hotel. What a memorable day. Bertie was in great spirits and kept us all entertained with his amusing anecdotes and banter. A wonderful time was had by all.

So dear Bertie may the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be always at your back.
