To Mary, Una and Pat and your families we were very sorry to hear the sad news of Bettys passing. She was a real lady, always a smile when you'd meet her. I have fond memories of her teaching me many years ago in Dromleigh NS. when I was in First class and preparing us for First Holy Communion, also travelling to school in her car, she was a very kind and good teacher.

I guess, from reading condolences from her present day friends & neighbours, Betty always retained her lovely gentle, generous & unassuming ways, despite her rich talents! I remember her fondly, from her days in Rusheen, as our teacher and choirmaster. She was an excellent, kind and fair teacher.
