Memories filter back to our schooldays in Rathpeacon and later as neighbours in Fr. Rodgers Park. May Breda's generous soul rest in peace.

She was without doubt a beautiful person who enjoyed life and did Trojan work in volunteering. She volunteered for a long number of years for Marymount. Her gorgeous smile and her ability to welcome people and look after them during the many events organised every year by the FRIENDS OF Marymount in order to fundraise in every way possible to secure funding for those people and their families needing care and treatment. She really loved volunteering in the “ MARYMOUNT SHOP in Oliver Plunkett St, Cork. She was brilliant dealing with the customers and they loved dealing with Breda too. Marymount was a very special Charity to her. She loved being a member of the Fundraising Team.She received an AWARD for HOSPICE HEROES and she was thrilled with receiving it. It was richly deserved. We were honoured to have worked alongside Breda volunteering and we have many happy memories of being with her and her husband John who was brilliant too. She will be greatly missed by all of us but she will be a huge loss to you John and the entire family, neighbours and friends
