Belatedly, sending condolences to Joe, Christine and Nicola, also Cecilia, all of whom I had met with Breda. She was a wonderful person of courage, wit and integrity. Michael, our son also sends his condolences, from Australia- he was a young altar boy with grateful memories of Breda who encouraged and trained him in the late 80s when she was Sacristan in St Patrick’s. She also resurrected and got refurbished, during the late Fr O’Moore’s time, the tall candlesticks at the back of the altar.
I very much regret not being able to attend her Funeral Mass. She has joined Bill now in eternal life after a life well lived RIP Breda
