In terms of our club Brendan was a hugely important and influential member in the fledgling days of Naomh Mearnog. He was a rock of sense and I have very fond memories of visiting Phil and Brendan in The Dunes looking for advice and leaving a couple of hours later after a great chat with both of them and a cuppa.
