Both myself and my family were just devastated to hear of Brendan’s passing - such a Fabulous entertainer he could sing like a bird with a warm heartfelt tone and on the flip side reduce you to absolute tears of laughter.. he was like an actual member of our family as EVERY Christmas Day since my early childhood we would have video after video on playing while we would try to eat our dinner without choking from laughter.. THANK YOU Brendan for those wonderful joyously happy days - packed with clean fun/laughter !!
My Dad and brother have sadly passed on in recent years and will be so happy to see you enter through the pearly gates .. May you Rest In Peace my wonderful idol - such a kind & thoughtful gentleman ❤️

Condolences to Eileen and family.we grew up watching brendan in our house my nanny loved him so much she would always have her small glass of stout and we would laugh and say nanny are u a drunk, I watched the rte1 documentary about Brendan when it was first aired and then again last night Eileen had amazing unconditionall love ♥️ for Brendan and he for her such a solid bond I pray god gives Eileen the strength to be strong - such a lovely family shine bright like a diamond - in heaven rest in peace brendan xx

4 generations of one family sitting around having a laugh at Brendan. How many comedians can say they unite families. Never vulgar, always let you use your imagination. Just a great guy all round. Gave us Kerry folk plenty and he only had us in stitches, sure wasn't he called after a Kerryman and what with his birthday on fools day. They say the final test of a man is to inspire those who follow and the legend clearly lives on. July 11th should now be know as St Bottlers Day, condolences to family, RIP Brendán.

I would like to express my sincere sadness on the passing of such a true Comedian. He brightened up everyone’s day. I had the pleasure of seeing in in 2 Concert. One in Bandon and the 2nd in Killarney.
We will never have anyone looking me him again. He was better than any medication to cheer up someone suffering from depression.

Its with great sadness that I write this. We have very few treasures left in this mad world we live in, and we now have one less. Like everyone in Ireland I enjoyed seeing Brendan live and have shared his tv programmes with many friends and families. My brothers claim to fame was that he cleaned his granny's windows. So for as long as I can remember he's been in my life. Both I and Ireland mourn with you all. Heaven is a jollier place today as we have a quieter world. People are only lost to us when no one remembers them, he will always be with us because he'll never be forgotten. Our hearts are heavy.
