To Linda and all the mc clean family. My sincere condolences on the passing of brendan. i knew bren back in the day when we socialised in town and the old phoenix Park racecourse. Many a Saturday bren would sleep over on the sofa and the next day my mother would make him a breakfast. We would then jump over the wall to st vincents where bren played football for ashtown. Every Christmas bren would bring my mother a bottle of whisky maybe as a thankyou for the breakfast. Bren was definitely one of the good guys. I always enjoyed his company. i have great memories of them days. rest in peace bren.

To Linda & family. I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Brendan. He was such a really good mannered nice guy. We played football together back in the day. May be rest in peace. Sleep well my friend & bless you.

My condolences to Brendan's family and friends. I knew Brendan from the time he used to knock about Blackhorse Avenue and the Phoenix Park. We were all fit and chomping at the bit then, to salvage something from the purgatory of the 1980s. Brendan had a particular standard of decency that couldn't be compromised by that decade, and a strength of character grounded in social justice. It was a privilege to have spent time in his company. May he rest in peace.
