Very sad to hear of Brendan’s passing. I went to Cahersiveen C.B.S. With the Twins Brendan and Gerard. We played football together. They were part of very victorious C.B.S senior team of 63 .Brendan now joins the others of that team Seán O Donoghue, Frank Looby, P J Fitzpatrick, and Noel Cronin in Heaven . My condolences to Gerard and all the Murphy family on their sad loss . May Brendan rest in peace.

Deepest sympathy to all the Murphy family. May Brendan rest in peace. I took part via the internet in the celebration of Brendan's life at his funeral Mass. It was a touching and beautiful service. I was particularly moved by words Willy has to say about his beloved brother.
I was sad to learn also that Bobby R.I.P. has passed away. We were school mates at the CBS away back in the 1950's.
Incidentally, my father, Tom, must have taught the Murphy family at the Aghatubrid Ns. I can recall that my dad had a special affection for the Murphy clan.
