Sincere condolences to Joan, Colm, and the O'Hare family. Brendan was a great sportsman and throughly enjoyed all the sports he played. While I am aware that hockey was his first love, I would like to think that tennis was his second. Always a willing competitor who really enjoyed the quest for victory, he never the less let it overrule his love of the companionship the battle created. Although I haven't seen him for years I still remember his many stories. I was was sorry that I only heard of his demise yesterday, too late to honour his memory at his removal. Yes he was a legend and I will miss his company - no matter how outragous it was. RIP

Dear Joan and family - I'm so very sorry to hear about your loss. During my teenage years, I vividly recall Brendan's gracious presence whenever I visited your home. He would generously offer to make coffee for Tom and his friends, making everyone feel welcome. He was a gentle and kind man and I'm positive that the impression he has left in this world will continue to show for generations to come.
