Such a huge loss, Brendan was a true gent, so approachable and always had time to speak to everyone with a smile. Sending my thoughts to Tina and the Wall family. A true tragedy, he was taken far too soon.

Brendan was my manager for a few years at ATA. I discovered a great professional, but also and above all a man like very few others today: a man with real values, a man who is respectful, honest and sincere. I am shocked and deeply saddened: we had kept in touch and I hoped to keep the link we had. I offer my sincere condolences to his family and friends and to Tina: a wonderful man has gone. Life is unfair. I'll always have you in my thoughts Brendan, my friend.

I knew Brendan to see from primary school days and I haven’t seen him since then. I was a few years behind him but I always remember him having a smile on his face even though that was 35+ years ago.

When I crossed the finish line at Youghal I heard the news and my heart sank. Although this shouldn’t have happened, I hope his family can remember that he died doing what he loved.

Clearly a gentleman and an accomplished athlete. My sincere condolences to his fiancé Tina and his family.
