Fished with Brian for a short few years in Dunmore probably the best time I spent at sea, A really clever man who had great knowledge of his trade. Always was a real gent, & it was with great sadness I heard this news today, my deepest sympathy to all his family & friends.

Sincere condolences Frances, Eithne and all the Crummey family, so sad to hear of Brians passing. Brian was a great friend of our dad Joe Murphy and we have fond memories of days spent around the fishing boats in Dunlaoghaire. Joe made him the model of his boat the Nordkap and they had a great adventure sailing the boat back from Norway in a late November North Sea storm. He was a wonderful man and a great friend. God rest him.
