Deepest condolences on the sudden passing of Brian. May he rest in peace.
— Ger and Dean Slye
Evelyn and I were so sad to hear of Brian’s untimely passing and wish to express our heartfelt condolences to my Godfather Joe and Moira, as well as to all of Brian’s family and friends.

Among many memories of Brian over the years, a chance meeting in a bar in NYC stands out. Though decades ago, I recall it like it was yesterday; a fun and memorable evening catching up on all the latest news, including about Brian’s work and various family matters. While we were to speak after that on the phone, and I often got updates on his life and many achievements, it was to be our last time to actually meet. How tentative and short life can be!

May he rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to Brian’s family and friends. To put it mildly, Brian lived an extraordinary life in NYC, forged his own exciting path, and touched the lives of many. Brian always lived life to the fullest and always had some interesting and exciting projects going on. He had a brilliant mind, there wasn’t anything he couldn’t do once he decided on it. He was a true gentleman with a very generous kind heart and a quick smile. This combination of personality traits made him loved, memorable and admired. He will be missed by many near and far. Although I hadn’t seen Brian in a number of years, we remained friends and I will miss his messages. He was very proud of the work he was doing in Ireland, and was very happy to be back in Ireland close to his girls, whom he fully adored.

All of the DLRCC project team associated with the DLR Baths project in Dun Laoghaire, which Brian had been a more than capable foreman, were extremely saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Brian last week. A colleague and friend to many in Dun Laoghaire, Brian gave the project his undivided and expert attention and it we would not have progressed toward the stage we are now, had it not been for his experienced influence and knowledge.

From all the team in Dun Laoghaire CC, sincere condolences to Brian's family and friends, you have a lost true gentleman......May he rest in peace.....
— Paul Kennedy - Dun Laoghaire Rathdown CC
I’m pretty certain that I don’t have any memories from my early teen age years that don’t include Brian. He gave me a safe space to hang out, my first piece of jewelry and countless unique experiences (as Joey so eloquently stated). We both moved to the States and for many years I was a visitor in his town of NY. Brian was a huge part of my youth and it pains me not be in Dublin today. Condolences to your beautiful girls and all your family. Goodbye my friend, rest easy.

My deepest condolences to the Donohue Family, Brian often spoke of you and loved you all dearly, especially his two daughters Ciara and Heather..💕 Brian was a humanitarian a friend and co-worker . Brian loved to travel and living on the edge, he dived the great blue hole in Belize, I we would send him to Portugal for stone. Brian knew New York like no other, he managed and built some of NY greatest night clubs through 96-2003, many called him Twilo Brian after one of the night club, he moved from this Industry into direct construction, building some of New York’s greatest art galleries, hair salons, Townhouses and exquisite apartments.
