“I was fortunate to work closely with Brian both in DFA's Finance Division and Fórsa Union and it was heart breaking to say "farewell" to him in Maynooth. He was one of the people-oriented colleagues I have had the privilege to work with in Foreign Affairs, always willing to find a way to support everyone around him. It is never easy to loose someone we know, but even more difficult when a gentle heart leaves this world.
I will always remember Brian as a beautiful soul whose presence has enriched many colleagues' lives. May his Soul rest between the angels!”

My sincere and deepest sympathy to Sasha, Eugenia and all of Brian’s family on his sudden and untimely death. I was shocked to hear the very sad news of his passing. We entered Maynooth together in 1988 as students for the Priesthood. I came to Atlanta in 1991 and was ordained to the Priesthood in 1996. Brian was at my Ordination as well as my dear Mother’s funeral in March 2009. I saw him nearly every time I was home and also when he was in New York at the U.N. He was a dear friend! May he rest in peace and may his memory be eternal. Rest assured of my prayers. May the Lord comfort you in your sorrow and may Our Blessed Mother walk with you on this journey of grief.
