Just heard the very sad news of Brian's untimely death.
He was a true gentleman

His total and unselfish dedication to Betty was outstanding and he will be very much missed. A consummate professional and servant to Milltown GC. Apart from being an excellent captain Brian should have been made an honorary member for the central role he played in the reconstruction of the course, the time he selflessly gave to it and his infinite patience in explaining what was going on.
