Is deacair liom a chreidiúint go bhfuil Brian na gaoise agus an spóirt bailithe leis uainn go deo deo!
Chuireas aithne air fadó i ndeireadh na gcaogaidí den aois seo caite - eisean mar mhac léinn in Earlsfort Terrace agus mise in UCC. Bhíomair tráth eile in Uidhist a Deas i nGaeltacht na hAlban ar saoire le chéile ag iarraidh Ghaeilge na hAlban a fhoghlaim. Bhíos ar choistí conspóideacha in éineacht leis tráthanna - agus níor ghá go mbímis ar aon fhocal i dtaobh cúrsaí áirithe!!! ach bhíomair riamh mór le chéile. B'in é Brian - d'fhéadfá easaontú leis i gcás áirithe ach bhí sé ábalta easaontú leatsa gan titim amach leat - bua ná fuil róchoitianta! Briseadh croí dá bhean agus dá chlann - agus dá chairde - é a bheith bailithe leis isteach sa tsíoraíocht fhada uathu. Sonas na bhFlaitheas agus radharc na Tríonóide go raibh aige.
