We were greatly saddened to hear the terrible news. It was such a pleasure to have had him as a wonderful companion on the golf course over many years, firstly at Dublin City and later at Citywest. As the only one in our group who had read the rules, he had a certain authority, especially when it came to lost balls. On one memorable occasion we spent an hour, not looking for a ball, but for one of Brain’s hearing aids. We will miss the fun, the corny jokes, the mischievious smile. Hopefully, there is a golf course in heaven. Rest in peace.
