He was an innovator, always up to date with the latest international trends, and he introduced significant initiatives over the years, including in planning for Major Accidents. He was generous to a fault, providing expert advice and guidance to anyone who sought it, but, most of all, he was a thorough gentleman. Ni bheidh a leitheid aris ann.

I was so very sorry to hear the sad news of Brian's death. He was a true gentleman and I have many fond memories of him showing us the wonders of 'new technology'. My deepest sympathy to all his family. RIP

Brian certainly “ did the State some service “ as Chief Ambulance Officer at the SHB. Brian was the Leader , Innovator in developing Major Accident planning in the country.
