Ann & I are very sorry to learn of Brian’s death RIP.
He was a thorough gentleman both on and off the field as they say.
We were small costumers of his for many years and found him helpful and courteous in all our dealings with him.
I got to know him through our shared love of the GAA in the early sixties and I admired his devotion to his beloved Foxrock Geraldine’s and later of course to the amalgamated club Foxrock Geraldine Patrick Moran’s. He represented his Club with great dignity and I never once heard him raise his voice in criticism of any player or referee.
We send you all our deepest sympathies.

Brian was the first person i met on my first day in Cornelscourt in September 1993. Little did i realise what a fine man i was about to encounter and one who would become a great friend.

He and his extended family in Ireland and Australia have by their kindness done so much to enrich the lives of all our family.

Brian was always good company, very engaging and interesting with a great interest in local history and of course the history of the Gers.

I will miss the visits and the chats but will cherish the memories of them.

Farewell and Rest in Peace.
