Bridget was such a lovely lady. I looked after her before she returns to the hospital and I am glad I had the chance to meet her. Always talking proudly of her children and grandchildren. My sincere condolences to all the family.

I read this last night for the family, and was asked to post it here for others to see:

There are no words to really describe how incredible my Gran was. There are also no words to describe how much she will be missed.
I have never known such a fierce and unconditional love as I knew from her.
She is my role model, my inspiration and I know she will always be with me in everything I do because she was such a massive part of my life. I was lucky to have spent so much time with her when I was little. She taught me so much.
Many of my favourite childhood memories are times spent with her. Doing the simplest of things; baking tarts, building tepees in the living room, walking in the park and feeding the ducks, working in the garden she loved so much, and kicking Grandad out of bed so I could do the crossword with her. It was her that made the everyday things magic.
Nothing was ever too much trouble for her when it came to her family. She was selfless, caring and so unbelievably kind.
My Gran spent her life doing everything she could to make her family happy. She told me that we are her greatest achievement, and she was happy to go, having got to see the people we turned out to be. I think if we’ve inherited even half of her strength we’ll be truly blessed.
She will never truly be gone, in that she left her mark on all of us here. She loved us all so very much, and a love like that will always be with us.
