My deepest condolences to the King family on the passing of my life long friend Bridget. I grew up 3 houses from the Kings on Church Street and have wonderful memories of our childhood. My mother and Molly King were great friends. Seventy years of letters back and forth between the two of us are treasured and greatly appreciated. Bridget was a kind and lovely person and her friendship meant a great deal to me. May she Rest in Peace.

We were deeply saddened to hear of our cousin Bridget’s passing so soon after her brother Paddy. Sincere sympathy to Jim & Breda, her nieces and nephews and especially her neighbours and friends in Millstreet who will miss her so much including Donie who was always at hand. Down the years we enjoyed Bridget’s many visits to Sixmilebridge and our visits to Millstreet. We will also miss our regular telephone catch ups. Bridget was a deeply religious woman who lived a life of faith through her acts of kindness and caring for everyone she met along her journey. She was a wonderful lady who may be gone but will never be forgotten. May Bridget now share the fullness of life with the Risen Lord and be reunited with all those she loved in life.
— Ita, Uncle John and all the Cusack family in Sixmilebridge.
