On her marriage to John O Brien in June 1959, Bridget came to live in Newtown Enfield.
She was our close neighbour, and always a pleasure to encounter. A proud Tipperary woman, she never lost the accent of her native county, despite settling in very well to her adopted Co. Kildare.
We’ll remember with fondness the times we spent together in Newtown & Naas and over the years we delighted in receiving her Easter and Christmas cards, always scripted in her beautiful handwriting.
Rest In Peace now Bridget with your beloved John, Kitty, Mary and your Parents.
Our very deepest sympathy to Willie, Joan and all your family on the death of your kind sister and Aunt Bridget.

Sincere condolences to William, Joan, Carmel, Michael and extended families on Bridget's passing. I had the good fortune to get to know her when she lived in Woodside Park, and continued our friendship when she moved into nursing home. Bridget was a very intelligent, independent lady and loved fashion and make up. When visiting her in Woodside Park the cup and saucer were permanently set. She always spoke highly of all her relations leaving no one out. Will miss my visits to the nursing home. Reunited with all your loved ones, rest in peace Bridget.
