Remembering you, Aidan Michael, Mary, Anne, Patsy, Brendan, Sandra, David and all family members as you grieve for a wonderful lady, Bridie. While you mourn her loss, I know that each of you will thank God for having had such a wonderful mother, grandmother relative, friend in your lives. I feel privileged to have experienced her hospitality on many occasions. She could "whip up" a tasty array of grilled foods faster than anyone I knew whenever I accompanied Aidan to Beresford.
She is happy now with her God and it's not a coincidence, I think, that she died on the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus - the day when we celebrate God's love for us in a special way. Bridie exemplified that beautiful love during her long life. May she now enjoy the light, love, peace and joy of her new life with Tony and all who have gone before her.
